Press Release: Cromwell High School Unveils Renovated Fitness Center
Cromwell High School is excited to announce the grand opening of our newly renovated Fitness Center!
Over the past three years, we have made significant investments to enhance this vital space, aiming to create an environment that promotes the overall health and fitness of our students. This year, we set an ambitious goal to complete this important project, culminating in a fitness area that truly supports our community’s well-being. In just the last two weeks, we replaced equipment and reimagined the layout of the center.
This achievement is a testament to the collaborative spirit of our school community. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to making this vision a reality, including:
-
Board of Education and Dr. Macri for their ongoing support.
-
Football Booster Club
-
Girls Soccer Booster Club
-
Cross Country Booster Club
-
Baseball Booster Club
-
PE and Health Department teachers: Mrs. Turner, Mr. Asmus, Mrs. Blauvelt, and Mr. Morello, who played a crucial role in selecting the equipment and designing a more functional space.
-
NAHS student Kyro Garrett (Class of 2026) for their creative design of the color scheme
-
Custodial Staff: James Corbett, Sal Russo, Wendy Ivan, Arthur Thomas, Edder Ramirez, Edgardo Rivera, and the soon to be retired Mike Ensign, for their exceptional work in bringing Kyro’s vision to life through their meticulous painting.
We would also like to express our appreciation to Andrew Loura (Class of 2025) for producing an engaging promotional video that showcases our remarkable new facility.
Thank you to everyone who has been involved in this project.
Your support has been invaluable, and we look forward to seeing our students thrive in this revitalized fitness center!
Sincerely,
Andrew Kuckel Josh LaMay
